This Cookie Policy explains how SnapsJo uses cookies and similar technologies to keep the website working, improve the product, support sign-in and checkout, and understand how people use our portrait tools.
1. What cookies are
Cookies are small pieces of data stored on your browser or device. Similar technologies, such as local storage, pixels, tags, and scripts, may also help a website remember choices, keep accounts signed in, measure performance, or understand how visitors use a page.
2. How SnapsJo uses cookies
SnapsJo uses cookies and similar technologies for a few practical reasons: to keep the site working, protect sessions, support login and checkout, remember basic preferences, understand product usage, measure campaigns, and improve the portrait creation experience.
3. Types of cookies we use
Necessary cookies
Required for login, account access, checkout flow, credits, uploads, edits, downloads, CSRF form protection, and basic site functions.
Preference cookies
Remember simple choices such as timezone and recently viewed portrait styles.
Analytics cookies
Help us understand page visits, feature usage, errors, and where users get stuck, so we can improve SnapsJo.
Marketing cookies
Help measure ads and understand which campaigns bring users to SnapsJo. SnapsJo does not currently load third-party advertising pixels on the website.
Payment and checkout cookies
Payment providers may use cookies on their own checkout pages to process payments, prevent fraud, and maintain checkout sessions.
Third-party service cookies
Services such as Google login and Dodo Payments may use their own cookies when you interact with those services.

5. Photos, portraits, and cookies
Cookies do not create your portrait by themselves. They may help connect your upload, style choice, account, credits, edits, and download page to the correct session or account. Photos and generated portraits are handled under our Privacy Policy and Terms.
SnapsJo is intended for adults, parents, or legal guardians. SnapsJo is not directed to children for creating accounts on their own. Users must have the right and consent to upload any photo they submit. Baby and child photos are processed only to provide the requested portrait service and related account, edit, download, support, safety, and legal functions. Parents and guardians may contact us with privacy questions or requests about child photos.
6. Third-party services
We may use trusted service providers for analytics, authentication, payments, hosting, email delivery, AI processing, and product operations. These providers may use their own cookies or similar technologies when their services are active. Their use of cookies is governed by their own policies.
Payments are processed by trusted checkout providers. SnapsJo does not intentionally store full card details.
We do not sell user photos. We may share limited information with trusted service providers that help us operate SnapsJo, such as hosting, analytics, authentication, payment processing, email delivery, and AI processing providers.
7. Your choices
You can manage cookies through your browser settings and, where available, through SnapsJo’s Cookie Settings. If you block necessary cookies, parts of SnapsJo may not work correctly. If you reject analytics or marketing cookies, the core portrait creation flow should still work, but we may receive less information about site performance and campaign results.
Where required by law, non-essential cookies and similar technologies should only be used after you make a choice. You can accept all, reject non-essential, or manage categories individually. You can change your choices later through Cookie Settings.
We use limited analytics and referral information to understand how people find and use SnapsJo, improve the product, and measure campaigns.
SnapsJo does not currently sell user photos or generated portraits. If our practices change, we will update this policy and provide choices where required by law.
Users may be located globally. Service providers may process cookie-related and analytics information in different countries. Where required by applicable law, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, object, restrict, port, or withdraw consent.
Depending on where you live and whether applicable law covers your request, you may have additional privacy rights. SnapsJo does not represent that a specific state, country, or regional privacy law applies unless required by the facts of a particular request.
8. Changing your preferences
You can change your cookie choices at any time by using the Cookie Settings link in the website footer.
9. Do Not Track and Global Privacy Controls
Some browsers send Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control signals. Where legally required and technically supported, we will treat recognized privacy signals in line with applicable law. Because these signals are not implemented uniformly across all browsers and services, you can also use our Cookie Settings and contact us for privacy requests.
10. Updates to this Cookie Policy
We may update this Cookie Policy when we add, remove, or change cookies, analytics tools, payment providers, or other service providers. The updated date at the top of this page shows when the policy was last changed.
